Solved: DIRECT LINE ipod integration for non-fiber systems!
Ok, this has been a problem on here for some time. Alot of guys have wanted a cheap way to integrate an ipod with a non-fiber optic (pre 99) system without using a tape adapter or FM modulater because of the crappy sound quality these produce. After a lot of looking, i found a way to do it. Here it is...
This unit plugs into the spot where you CD changer goes, and then plugs into your ipod on the other end. Most people i have spoken with have not been too reluctant to give up their CD changer since an ipod holds more than any CD changer in existence. I have not had the time to install mine yet because of school and internship interviews, but will do a full writeup sometime next weekend.
Here's the website i used to buy it. This is the only place i've found it, in your order instructions say that i (king320) referred you. He'll be able to keep track of demand for MB products this way, and might even give us a forum discount at some point. Anyways, here are the links...

Some of the universal ones might work if the fiber unit has AUX ins. I know there are fiberoptic systems out there, try google.
