Need OPINION on these wheels....

sup fellas. would like your opinion on these wheels and would like to know if yall think i should change them. they are 19 inch giovanna wheels. ive had them for years cause they were on a previous car of mine but never tried putin them on the clk. do you think it would be a upgrade? or downgrade? the only thing thats bad is that they are not staggered, they are 8.5 wide all the way around. let me know, any/all input is appreciated. thanx

this is what i have now(19in staggered set)

these are the wheels i have had for years and some pix of what they look like on other cars (19 by 8.5in)

i think you should stick with the black wheels...black on black is hotter. although if you went with the other wheels you wouldn't be quite as common as other black clk's, especially if there are alot in your area. but no matter what black on black is more eye appealing.

haha, i see by your sig that you got a black on black as well ya i def. love the black on black, but ive had that same look for 2yrs now. plus the chrome wheels wouldnt be permanent, maybe just a few months, then back to the black on black.

I think those black rims you have on your car looks way better than those chrome wheels. If your sick of them, I guess you should switch them out for a while and then go back.

Yea, I wouldn't put those rims on CLK! Didn't look that bad on GS300 but still looked kinda getto... or "hood status" lol I would defiently try another solution. Maybe sell the rims and buy some new ones. ClubLexus has great staggered wheels on thier wheel forum. Check it out if you got some extra time. Great prices! http://www.clublexus.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=41

Flying Saucer?....Sorry for making fun of those chrome wheels but the black ones are what you should keep on your car. The other ones should go on a 1989 Chevy Caprice with gold flake paint.

CLK FAN, Do those Sevas 20s rub? And was wondering what you used to lower your car. Is it H & Rs with #1pads? Cause it looks perfect!

Black looks way better - the black wheels even have a decent looking lip on them. Besides the "saucer" aspect, the silver wheels look like they'd provide terrible brake cooling b/c they're essentially solid except for the little slits. Keep 'em blackkkkkk.

I rub a little because my car is very low. I have Brabus springs that have 1 coil cut with #2 pad in the front and #4 pad in the back. If my car wasn't so low I probably wouldn't rub. The rubbing doesn't bother me tho because I know that it's not rubbing against anything sharp. Oh and by the way my fenders are rolled.

lol, u guys are right. they do kind of have that 'hood' look. i definately agree, they are not sporty at all. thanx for all the input, i will definately NOT put them on. i was kinda leaning towards NOT putting them on, but wanted a 2nd opinion. so here i got the 2nd,3rd,4th, and so on. i guess it would be a downgrade to put them on. thanx once again

I would get another set of big chrome wheels if I were you Krayzie, those just don't match and I'm sure their are TONS of chrome wheels that you can look at that are much better then those, and the cheesegrater lights don't look bad, reason why is because I want the black ones now THOSE are something I would consider buying.
