Bad Crack, any suggestions?

Ok, so I cracked my front bumper really bad by both fog lights and now I'm going to be replacing it along with the rear bumper and the side skirts. But I'm a little torn on what to replace them with. I really really like the Reiger lip kit but I'm not sure if it will hide the horrible crack that I have. I've done google searches and looked on ebay(iffy I know) but just can't decide and get a good idea on what things would look on the car. Do any of you have any suggestion with or without pictures of what I should get? And where is the best place to purchase a full kit?

Same here, my whole front bumper is cracked/ripped, but that's because our association remodeled our driveway and they made it too steep compared to everyone elses. They're probably going to pay for my new bumper.

Geez...everyone seems to have the same problem with the stock bumper. So do any of you know if the Reiger kit will hide the horrible crack??? Does anyone have one, and do you like it?

Here's pics of the damage:

the worse side the not so worse side

Anyway I go up, it hurts my bumper, at first it wasn't so bad till my bumper kept getting worse from it. At first getting up on the driveway was ok, but when getting off, its like my car was on the floor. Now I can't get on & off normally. Anywhere I drive is a pain in the @$$. Esp. if I'm on a hill and I'm parking the car, it's the worst because my whole bumper scrapes.

I'll show you pics of the driveway, I can't believe they built it this way, there's 9 houses in our community, and 8/9 have normal driveways, except ours.

You have the authentic amg front bumper? And what color is it?

jessica90 - wow they REALLY fukd up that driveway - its ridiculous on that left side and probably impossible ta get up without scraping...doesnt even look like a driveway lol

devilsangel - the reiger bumper is an addon bumper onta the 320's bumper; it wont fit on the AMG bumper...

krayzie99 - an angle would usually do it ...its actually pretty amazin how u can make it up sum driveways on a sharp *** angle compared to goin strate for it...ive recently had to learn to adjust wit this damn carlsson bumper lol...but damn, jessica90s driveway looks impossible..although the right side of that driveway is probably somewhat possible...

You should go up/down at an angle. Replcaing the bumper wont fix your problem until you can find a proper way to get in/out of the driveway. Otherwise you will end up with anothe cracked bumper!

There is a certain angle I can use, but then it'll be difficult to open my drivers side door, as I'll have little space to get out.

This driveway is f*cked up as is, once I get a new bumper, my car will never go on it again, unless they decide to fix it.

The bumpers can be repaired but you would need to know what you're doing. Somebody (I think it was 'The Jury') on this forum did theirs recently and posted pics. You need to know how to work bondo and a lot of sanding but he did his and it looked amazing. I'd try it but I don't have a garage. But when my old cracked one comes off in a couple of weeks, I'm going to keep it and practice on it. I figure if I fug it up, I'll throw it away, which would happen anyway. If it comes out ok, I'll keep it for when the 'new' one eventually cracks...it's inevitable.

Ya the person who had the car before me cracked it and tried to have it repaired and well now its cracked again.

And as for repairing the crack that is there now, its beyond repair. My shop guy said that it would be more work trying to repair it then just replacing the whole thing, which I would much rather do anyway.

Your situation isn't funny, but the thread has a comical twist.

A woman with this avitar posts a thread "Bad Crack, any suggestions?"

The FIRST response is "Any pictures of the damage?"
