Should I just put Lorinser LM1 or other?

I bought a set of new rims (Real Lorinser LM-1 Multipiece) and the shop just can't put those rims right. DAM*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't even understand what the fu** they are talking about.... I have no knowledge about those stuffs and just couldn't understand them.

The words that they said.... cup, spacer, coil....... what the heck are they? why can't they just pull out old rims and put these rims into it? I paid over $3K for these and don't know what to do with that.

I have put on "classified" to resell..........but really hate to give out.. because I will lost $$ anyway............. any comments why these rims are hard to put it on?

front and rear tires have same width... is it normal or what? thought rear should be wider... what am i suppose to do now?

JEEZ~~~~~~~~!!!!!!! I really want to DIE right now!!!

What suspension do you have on it now? and most importantly, what size are your wheels and the offset.

If the offset is correct, there should be no problems putting them on.

You are in south Cali, which shop did you go?

Offset? you mean the number of lugs? it requires 5 lugs... it does fit to all Mercedes I believe, as all MB has 5 lugs..... but.. it's just TOO WIDE and think I need to do something, but don't know exactly WHAT to do.

I went to shop in Orange County.. it's a place where polishing the rims and replace new tires.. etc...

I called wheelwarehouse and they said that nothing is impossible. Gotta go that place on Wednesday after they repolish the rims.

Well... very tough time!!

when i got my brabus I put them on myself, the back had clicking noises so i couldn't drive it. took it to F1 motorsport the next day, they changed the bolts and rolled my fenders, now I'm rolling on those 19" Brabus.

If I change whole springs, suspension.... whatever..., will I be OK? and if they roll the fender?

I believe these rims are 19" x 9" / 9.5"

Too wide?????????? ARGH~~~

But i saw many people here who has 10" WIDE.... what;s wrong with my car?

Is there ANY ANY ANY "ANY" possibilities that 19" rims cannot fit to CLK??????????????????? ANSWER ME PLEASE

If the offset is wrong the wheels won't fit. For 19 inch the offset should be 35mm I believe. you would have to modify the bolts in order to fit diff offset wheels. Where you live? Go to F1 Motorsport in North Hollywood, they should be able to help you.

P.S. my wheels are 19x8.5 front 19x9.5 rear

you may need spacers: spacers put distance between the actual rim and the wheel base so you can fit an oversize rim... your 19s

you may also need to roll the fenders: process where the inside of the wheel well is pushed back, creating more space to accomodate an oversize rim.... your 19s

hope that helped....

thank you all for GREAT advices... I wish I can learn more about mod whatever.... but I have better things to do than learning about them. I just want my car look more unique than others. That's all... The reason that I am here at MBWOLD.ORG is to get the information where to buy and install different stuffs. peace~

19x9 in the front are quite wide.

Most 19 inch applications run at 8.5 max in the front and 9.5 (10 is ok too) in the rear with a 35mm positive offset (with minimal modification).

The offset measurement is the distance from the center of the rim to either the inside (- offset) or to the outside (+ offset).

When the offset is off, certain things must be done anywhere from rolling the fender (to prevent rims from rubbing against the outside), to add spacers (to prevent rubbing on the inside). If your rims are too wide, you will essentially rub both inside and outside, making it a very poor choice of rims.

Getting a lowered suspension will not solve your problem. In fact, it can ENHANCE your problem, causing it to rub even more so then before.

Yes, all MB except G Class use a 5x112 lug pattern (5: number of bolts, 112: mm size in diameter)

Hope this educates you a little more about wheels and such.

Oh yes, if any of the info is incorrect... please don't flame me for it... i'd be happy to learn from those who have experienced otherwise, or have other gainful knowledge to share.

if you can post the specs of the wheels (including width and offset), tire sizes, and brand of tires, I should be able to tell you what the problem is.

I run 19x10 rear wheels with no problems whatsoever.

I have Lorinser LM1 on my CLK...

They are 19X9 in the front and 19X10 in the rear. The car is lowered with H&R Springs and there are no spacers necessary. Here is a picture. Let me know if I can help. Obviously, the wheels do fit and ther is no rubbing at all. We had to roll the inside of the rear fenders.

They are ALL 19" x 9" with Dunlup 8000 245 35ZR 19

According to this website, http://www.dimaxperformance.com/wheels/lorinser/, they are LM 1 19x9 - ET 37-44mm

what is the problem?

245 is too wide for the front, you need 235 35ZR 19.
