New Chrome Projectors Installed - Pics
Here are a couple of pics of CLK FAN's new chrome projectors. He didn't have his bumper on in the pics, so I photoshopped an amg bumper in. One pic w/ stock grill, one w/ black stock grill.
The group buy on benzworld ends WED @ MIDNIGHT (48 hrs), so if u want them, go over and get the guy's payment info.
Thanks for taking the pics Sam...this is really helpful to us all. And your car's gonna look AWESOME, esp w/ the upgraded bumper

One thing that I potentially wouldn't like is the turn signal bulb area is very clear and if using a legal amber bulb it would be kind of ugly when it was off. If it didn't cause a bulb out warning it would be nice to use LEDs.

the guy that put them in had it done. It shouldn't be hard. involves removing the bumper (6 bolts i think) and then taking out the old ones and putting in the new ones. i've done it before, takes a couple hours your first time. Probably an hour or less 2nd time around.

axis DID fit w/out spacers. lucky find!
xenons...i have xenons and i'm getting them and finding a way to put my stock ballast and d2r or d2s bulbs into the h7. the other forum tells how. basically you get an adapter ring and cut away part of the plastic housing on the d2r. the headlamps are also adjustable so we won't have to worry about blinding anyone.

They are nice, but they change the character of the car. it makes them look too much like a W209 (some may like that). I prefer the old school lights, but again just my opinion. either way, awesome job.
