I did it on my D3...all it requires is removing one of the wires in the harness and inserting it in the spot that's right below. Then you ground that wire. I know that it is different for the D2...you can go to www.avic411.com and they have the instructions for all units. Good luck!

Aww man, you live in the east coast. If you lived in the westcoast, i would of recommended you to some of my shops.

All you have to do is find a place where they do all those "custom audio". as in... where they do almost anything, those guys should be able to by pass any system.

I'm guessing you didn't visit the website I gave you OR you couldn't find this thread

http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtop...ghlight=bypass

looks like grounding the brake wire will do it, you just have to do it after the boot-screen is finished loading. The way I see it, you have 2 options. 1- get a timer and configure it to engage after the boot screen has loaded... OR 2 - get a temporary switch from radioshack (the switch should be ON by default) and put it inbetween the parking brake wire and grounded wire. (when you want to play your DVD while moving...all you would have to do is press the button once you get the warning message)
