It looks good on $400,000 mercedes, that I saw at Mercedes Benz of Oakland over a year ago. Our CLK may be a bit cheap for these doors. I think most people here do not like this door . I will have it on my CLK if mine runs 3.xx seconds . Yours is suppercharged but still runs 4.xx something?

Supercharged CLK430 street/show car
I got pics
I got pics of the car somewhat together, the body still isnt completely molded and still needs paint. I dont want people taking any of my ideas, especially my hood! I put alot of time, money and R&D for my own designs into my car and I want to get recognition for it at car shows and other events, no offense of course! My car should be done within a few months. When I get some pics done with a few mags I have been talking to then I will have no problem showing other pics! The car is going to be repainted Mercedes brilliant silver and has chrome trim interior and blue neons everywhere! My whole goal was to take the car and retain the basic lines and improve upon them, I want people that own a mercedes to look at the car and say that is a tastefully yet a fully modded CLK! The main focus was attention to detail like the lines of the car transitioning to the next line, example you ever see the civic with the stock side skirts and rear bumper but has an aftermarket front bumper that hangs down 3in below the rest of the kit, whack! Its the little things that add up overall!
CLKCLK I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but you got to admit, that is one of the best Lambo jobs done on a clk430, they come out la few inches then go straight up!
Hitneed, only down the highway at a buck 75!

looking good, hope that the body shop does a good job...
my experience with custom body work was bad esp in my C-class, it was repainted 5 times to ensure all the waves in the paint where gone... when bondo , filler , fiberglass come in the game its very hard to get quality work...
and i also recommend to bake the car in the painting oven for a few hours then keep it in a sunny day all day long before painting it will insure 90% of the fiberglass / bondo cracks will appear especially the hair line ones... my .02c
GOOD LUCK always love custom

Don't get me wrong here nastyclk I didn't say it ugly . Personally, I like the doors. However, what I am saying here is our CLKs are bit cheap for these doors. Think about this, those doors are on $400K mercedes and several hundred dollars lambo, so there is no question to blame on those. However, with all mods you've done to your CLK, how much would it come out? $30K, $40K, or even $50K??? it's still a fraction of the $400K cars. Again, I am not talking about the beauty though I have some weird stuffs on mine too As long as you like it

I had a 300zx convertable with lambo doors. Its good as a show car. But sucks as an everyday car. Everytime I got in and out the car the doors has to go up. It seems like your showing off. When all your doing is going to the store to get some ice cream for the wife at 2am. I'm not knocking it. It got alot of attention, sometimes too much.

Depends`
It depends on what you want and the kit you get! You can buy a bolt on kit for around a grand and someone can install it for about another grand! Doesnt look real good though! I have a weld on my kit it cost about 1g and most shops will charge 400 to 800 dollars each door to install! To get the work done that I have on mine you would probally pay about a thousand each door, I had pillars notched and **** so its more than usual!
