Nice RC cars, I like the W209 and E55 a lot. Btw, who makes the "best" RC cars?

For gas? I'd go with HPI or Kyosho.

The W209 is a 1/10th scale body made by Tamiya. I think Tamiya and HPI make the best looking bodies. Speed and performance is another matter of much debate, but I like HPI.

Depends. I have a rigged up HPI RS4 (1/10th, 1.6hp PICCO engine, 2-speed transmission, racing clutch, racing/lightweight flywheel, larger carbeuretor, large air-filter, fuel-filter, ported exhaust header, high flow exhaust, cross-drilled brakes, aluminum suspension arms, and other little stuff...

The total cost in time (breaking and replacing parts) have cost me probably around $1700. My car (though I haven't used it recently) can go 70mph with the correct gear.

If you want a real monster, they have 1/8th scales and get a whopping 3hp large-bore engine and a 3-speed transmission!

I have had over 30 different RC cars, boats, and planes, and i could say for cars the best brand is HPI, traxxas and kyosho are all great, my current nitro rs4 can easily top 80 mph, i am actually looking to get the new nitro 4 tech that does 65mph out of the box, and its an RTR.

Just curious, have you verified the 80mph speed? With 44T 2nd gear, my car goes rougly 70-72mph via radar detector.

ones too fast according to CHP!
Hey guys....

Just got back in the hobby. In fact, Simon and I got Ben one for X-mas:

compared to the real thing:

This is a 1/18 HPI.

We are now a dealer for all HPI and many accessories, we will be adding to the website here at the soon to be announced MBWorld store and on evosport.

Here are some of our race car:

And the real thing:

Here are the two together:

Just started to mod the M3 with CF and alum suspension. Big motors and batteries are next!

Thanks

Brad

We have not got Simon into it yet and no sedan 1/18 scale bodies.

However, I think you will see a C32 1/10th evosport car soon!

At the new facility, we are thinking about having a small track where customers can mess with them while waiting!

Thanks

Brad
