KLEEMANN W208 V8 Header special!

We are please to announce a pre-delivery special for KLEEMANN W208 V8 headers. Pre-Paid orders placed before January 30th, 2009 will receive special pricing of $1200.00 for a set of KLEEMANN W208 headers and down pipes. We are also including ECU programming to eliminate the check engine light due to the removal of the primary catalysts, and force-setting of the emissions readiness monitors. These will work on the CLK430 and CLK55. Sorry, we don't offer headers for the CLK320's.

The headers are on the way to our USA headquarters via overseas freight, and expected delivery time is 2 weeks. Please give me a call if you'd like to place an order- 719.473.6441- ask for Cory, or Brandon if I am not available. PM or email if you have any questions.

Supercharged CLK430 street/show car
secondary cats

I heard you can relocate the o2 sensor to secondary cats so no cell comes on once the primary are removed but im thinking about putting on high flow cats with these headers will that cause a cell if relocate the o2 sensor on high flow secondary cats? Are these headers stainless steel?

O2 sensor relocation is not necessary, as we are including ECU programming which will eliminate the CEL and force-set the emissions readiness indicators for emissions compliance. I never recommend replacing the secondary catalysts as there is not much power benefit, and if you live in a state where they still sample exhaust gas, it will almost certainly fail. If you live in a state where they simply do the OBDII test and check readiness monitors, there will be no problem passing.

6 hours is a reasonable amount of time to expect for install, so just multiply by the labor rate of your favorite shop.

yes, the gains are certainly different. On a supercharged 430, we typically see 30-35 HP on top of the supercharger- those gains are a function of higher cylinder pressures on the supercharged engine.

I will do the header/SC specific tune for an additional $500.00

I used to own a 2000 CLK430- supercharger was installed at 5000 miles, and I sold the car with 87,000 miles on the clock. The current owner drives it nearly every day, and it's just over 100K now- that's the highest miles on a supercharger that I know of. I put a supercharger on a 2002 S55 that had 140K on it, and it's at around 215K last I heard, and still going strong.

to the wheels or crank?

wuts the usual cost?
6hrs of labor is gonne be rough..need to justify this to myself lol

how do the headers effect the sound?

also, do we need a retune afterward
