My Clk320 puts to the right a bit when its cold...after it warms up its straight and true. I think I am going to grease my bearings because I am really stumped here? Is that what yours was doing?

Yo Hersh,

I did something similar to my CLK's Rear-Left side.

My hub's threads were destroyed when bad lugs were installed.

When trying to remove just the hub, the entire inner-racing of the wheel bearing came with it. its like they were FUSED together.

i had to make a puller (to pull the bearing out) and buy both new hub and the bearing.

It wasn't too bad for me, but it's involved!
It all has to come off, brakes, e-brakes, axles but I did it ALL in my driveway many, many years ago.

If I had to do it again, I'd apply heat to the HUB (use a torch) to make sure that the wheel bearing doesnt get stuck to your hub when removing.

Big rims + Negative Camber = Wheel Bearings will fail someday!

Yo, Good Luck with your ride mang.

You wouldnt have a good HOW-TO would you? My son and I bought a small 3 series Beamer and it has the exact same setup as our 208's rear bearings. I would like to get started this weekend if i can look at some type of writeup.

ANYONE???
