Xenon Headlights
For CLK's that have the factory Xenon headlights can you change the factory bulb to a 6000k or 7000k (i hear these are brighter)? I can't find any links for bulbs only full HID kits.

I have 7000 on my CLK, but it is too blue for my taste, you might want to go with the 6000.
And don't even bother going over 7000, might as well drive with just your fog lights on...

My 7000 is pretty blue, more blue than white...

there are no HID bulbs for the small headlights, but you can get the blue bulbs that replaces your factory yellow ones.
I believe they are M-17 bulbs.

I don't think any factory car uses anything but 4300k (I could be wrong but I doubt it). The reason why some appear to be more blue is due to the projector housing. This housing due to the shape changes the appearance giving it a "bluer" look. It also causes the infamous "flicker" you see on the new bmw's and audi's. Not sure of the exact lumens of the factory clk xenon's however it should be the same for all xenon's except for anything over 6000k because anything over that merely has a blue coating which acutally filters out some of the light. Phillips Ultinon is the only legitimate bulb(in fact it is only 5800k, but they call it 6000).

Is it legal to install the 6000k Philips on the car?
For those guys who install it, what do you do to the stock one?
Also, is the 6000k Philips a Xenon light or HID?
Is there any difference?
