ABS and BAS light on

ABS and BAS light on
hi , quick question , i was playing with battery and disconnected in for few moments and when i got it back on , ABS and BAS lights came on. When car is turned off and i press brake pedal , no break lights are working but when i turned on the car brake lights work. Brake light switch maybe or fuses ? thank you

Since you lost power, while parked with the car on, turn the steering wheel all the way left, then all the way right (lock to lock). That will correct the BAS / ABS issue. Also, if you have one touch windows and sunroof, they have to be reset. Brake lights don't work without a key in the ignition.

I had Road side assistance stop by , Silver Star MB in Queens , NY and they took care of issues and Marcus it is exactly as you described it above. I just got this CLK 320 about month ago so i am still getting to know this car. Thanks for your info.

reset the light .
it does happen when u disconnect the battery
turn the car on.
turn the steering wheel all the way to left (max) then all the way to the right (max) then back to middle = no more light

I've been ordering parts and fluids from Autohaus AZ. I've been very satisfied with the quality, most are OEM.The blower motor resistor/regulator #2108206210 (Behr) is $107.00

The key word being "from". I'm on the left coast now. The downside is no Knicks, no Jets, no Yankees, no nothing to eat, and let me stop here before I insult the neighbors. The upside is - I still visit.

Thanks Jimpott i will order it from them. Marcus , yes i am in Astoria. Francis Lewis , i did my community service there few years ago haha. You have better weather there , that is a big plus. I live for the day when i will leave this city for some " normal town " if you will.
