Pimpin Ain't Easy
If prostitution is the world's oldest profession then pimping is a close second.
The classic images of 1970’s era pimps are usually green and gold suits with a matching cane, and a Cadillac. Nowadays, the women and Caddys have gone the way of the Sears and Roebuck catalog. Now it’s financial products and Mercedes-Benz. Of course, “Big Pimpin” types drive a Bentley, are driven in a Maybach, and when caught, pay tax deductible fines rather than jail time. For now, we’ll stick with regular pimpin.
Old school pimps were known for their distinct terminology when discussing the game. Pimp slang, like the phrase "pimpin' ain't easy", is used to describe a regular person's continuous journey through the tedium of life. "Pimpin' ain't easy" is ironic because for those with talent, pimping is almost second nature.
In order to be an effective pimp, you must have a captive audience. Rolling up in WiLL’s CLK, or dropping the top in Big Mike cab will do the job. The women will swoon and the guys will hope no one notices them drool.
A pimp also has to be able to hold attention once it has been attained. Ever seen CLK_FAN’s ride? Pass me a napkin, I’m starting to drool.
Lastly, a good pimp always lets his subjects know who’s in control. He does this with a mixture of violence and mental intimidation. BlackBenzz’ thermonuclear powered 55 is as violent as it gets. Run against that and you’ll find yourself b!tch slapped back into reality. . . . . . or unconsciousness. And that’s with an open hand (no nitrous). If he has to get serious . . . . . and the bottle is cracked open . . . . . the beating will be so bad that photos will be banned from the net. At that point, join witness protection, drop off of MB World, and buy a bus pass.
For most of us, pimpin ain’t easy. For a select few . . . . . DAMN. Just DAMN.
(yes I did steal the idea from BR, but don't ruin it for the others)
