vipclk320 stut bars

was unable to send him private message, but had some questions on this.

here goes the message i tried to send him:

hi, just got the stut bars, was wondering if u have any how too's on how to put it on?

rear: will the bolt from the shock go down if i unscrew the bolt and if so what can i do so it wont?

front: drill hole only on drivers side?
easy access under the car? just remove the plastik from the wheel well?

what size are the bolts that came with it?
need to know how big the hole should be.

he is under CLK limited now.
i have all his stuff.
rear : just unscrew the nuts, put the bar and put the nuts on top of the strut.
front: u got to drill 1 hole on each side... just raise one side at a time and let the tire hang so u can have access the bolt when u drill the hole
U dont need to remove the plastic.
i just drilled the hole and i made it bigger till the bolt got fitted.

once u install em, u have to cut between the fire wall and where u see that big bolt , i had to hammer it down like 3 times so it does not hit the hood (when u try to close it), otherwise, it wont close.
if your ride is low as mine, you haveto cut teh bolt underneath the fender once you installed it, otherwise it will hit the upper arms

ty and its the bolt from the rear shocks, i unscrewed it but it just kept going further and further down! did not unscrew it fully due to i was afraid it would pop out of the hole and down in the wheel well.

do i need to jack the tyre up to add preasure to it?

to install the front bars
1.find a drill bit that fits the hole on the black piece
2.align the bar where u want them installed, mark it
3.drill the holes
4.find some pipe to cut two pieces out of to make yourself some spacers so the bar can clear the throttle sensor.
5.go buy the bolts and nuts, make sure to bring the two spacers and a jack so u can make sure the bolts fit perfect.
6.after get n the right bolts and nuts, jack the car up and install.
The hardest part is preparing the install, installing is easy.
Now for the rear bar
1.find a way to precisely cut exactly where the strut is at,just a slit,or like I did a square.
2.take out all the trunk linen
3.I recommend taking out the first bolt to the strut cuz if u take out both its gonna be hard to tighten them enough to the point that ur strut doesn't make noise while driving.
4.after installing the bars carefully tighten the bars till u feel tension.
5.the rear bar is very delicate so as ur adjusting bounce the car up and down for any noise.
6.drive the car and make any adjustment till ur happy.now go have fun!

No, The shaft is connected to the rear shock, you grab a vice grip an grab the top of the shaft and the use a 18mm end wrench to take off the nut. Once the nut is loose take the vice grips off and put the mount on and then do the reverse to take it off.

i did not, its a kompressor so i would need to make something very custom to be able to make that work. but i have seen others with the same engien type as me that has done this, anyone know of a person that has a worklog on making a open filter on the kopressor engien?
