01 430 Procharger ecu tunning helpers
Hey dudes , i have clk430 with a Paxton 2000 procharger. I took it to a shop in kansas called Korprom. They tune and test most german cars for the mid west reagon of the US. I had a bracket C&C'd and fits really well, the procharger set up is very low and sits so well i was able to keep the air filter cover over the piping from the procharger to the intake. All the physical parts are done and now its down to the digital. all i can see on the ecu tunning part of the problem is pretuned ecu. pretuned ECU's are not going to do me any good here so can anyone recomend a Tunable ECU for my clk. thanks. ps my spelling is **** so please look past that.

You won't find a stand alone system for these cars because everything is controlled and authorized by the ECU better known as ME. Your best bet is to call places like wistec to eurocharged or oe tune and have them do a custom tune for you. You can also use split second MAF tunner.

MAF is the Mass Air Flow sensor. It's the tube looking thing that sits between the intake box and the throttle body. There are many companies out there that an put a tune on your ME by just sending it to tem, some can send you the tune programs in a kit and you can put them on yourself via laptop or the programmers which they supply and some take the car in and tune it on the dyno in house. The last method is usually te preferred one when you need a custom tune for a super charger or turbo.

It was around a six thousand dollar job , it was fairly new concept at that time. ive sense switched over to a twin scroll engine mounted turbo system. I build borgwarner turbos for the w208 chassis now. i have a muffler mount as well. the kits are around 4k for each. Evotech can tune the stock ecu.
