Best Break Pads

So indy called and replaced my front brakes pads, bearings both sides, and completed my A sservice, but the rear pads are still good! Yes it's not hard for pads to age gracefully, but it does depend on how much /hard you drive.

The fabled German engineering put wear sensors only on both the left and right sides of the front axle and none on the rear brakes.
Although there was no 'warning' of worn pads, changed my front pads at 85K miles (e.g. after 14 years) and just recently the rears at 95K miles (e.g. 16 years later), just in case.
Go figure.
PS: My guess is that MB figured that customers' would always have A and B services done, have the dealer check the condition of their brakes, wiper blades, filters, tires, fluid levels etc., for as long as they owned the vehicle.
