how big of a lip (rims) can you have on a w208?

Question how big of a lip (rims) can you have on a w208?
A friend of mine owns a CLK, he bought it used and it's slightly dropped. He doesn't know what kind of springs the car has, or how much it's dropped. He currently has some 18" chrome carlson wheels on it, but wants to get rims with a wide lip... i'm helping him find out what type of rim he could go with but i have no clue as far as offsetts, wheel/tire sizes for this car, can someone please help me out?

Carlsson is great. Lip can go up to 7" for a wide body. Just e-mailed you the picture. Hopefully you like them.

lowryder, your rims looks great, what are the specs? did you roll your fenders?

auto2freak, i didn't completely understand what you meant in the e-mail, but the rims look nice . . . sponsorship

19x10 Rear and I rolled my fenders.
