And may you, and your "friend," end up buying a car in the future that has been rolled back.
Why do so many people think that to get ahead in life, they need to screw someone else over? Nice thinking!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
That's great to know... What are we "Uncle Jed" on a used car lot getting extra bucks for rolling back a Caprice Classic to 65,000 miles? I am sorry and I don't mean to be rude- if you put the miles on the car deal with the depreciation- you dealt with the luxury of the car didn't you? What you are going to do is pawn off your loss to someone else. Sleep at nite?

I always find it interesting how people always completely freak out at the mention of this subject. You could post this message to alt.killing.babies and everyone there would freak out too. People would rather you go on a rampage and start running people over with your car rather than tamper with the mileage.

Sungul,
Didn't you know that tampering with the odometer is an offense punishable by the law? Is 5-10 years of your life worth the extra $500 you pay in returning your car over the mileage limit?
Think about it,

Out Of Control!!
Yes, it is do-able. In certain accidents, the car's mileage can be thrown off +/-. It is only legal to have your mileage changed when it is to correct an inaccuracy such as this. Simply rolling back the mileage is illegal, and other traces on the car can hint to whether it has been done.

The funny thing is, some of the older players started calling him "Late-for dinner". Know it doesn't apply, just thought it was funny.
