Question Aftermarket pedals

Anyone put aftermarket pedals on their car? You know, those stainless steel ones that say AMG or one of those fancy tunner names....with the rubber bumps or lines on them.

How is the fit and finnish?
Install issues at all?
Any trick to remove the current stock rubber ones?

Thanks

Most of the sets sold on e-bay require drilling. I've been thinking about some, but don't want to drill my pedals.

OEM..huh?

No drilling? Under $50 from the dealership...now that I do not beleive, my dealer charges $50 at the door to get in. (they have to cover the cost of the coffee bar and salon inside!)

Any OEM places to order on-line?

I used the ones off e-bay. Had to drill 4 small holes in each pedal. No big deal. The amg alum. pedals looks great.

pedals $65 shipped
drill free
look priceless

I want my vehicle to look nice but I don't think I should have to pay crazy prices on parts.

did you have to remove the current plastic? Did you have to drill the car or the pedals themselves? Did the pedals come with any type of instructions?

No instructions. Very simple.
Gas pedal..... removed 2 nuts that holds it on the floor
remove rubber pedal
drill holes in plastic support
install alum. pedal
Brake pedal...remove rubber pedal
drill 4 holes in metal support
install alum. pedal
E-Brake........ remove rubber cover..install new cover (no drilling)
Foot rest...... screw the alum. pedal to the floor.

Est. time @ 30-1 hr.

The pedals should come with screws.

Used the brabus pedals. The pic is on a previous post here. Drilling was not a problem as the under pedal is hard plastic. Two little screws and you're done. That was 2+ years ago and still no problems.

Cool.......Not hard to install at all.
We don't have to pay a lot to look good. It's how you do it.
