Looking at CLK next Friday. What should I be looking for?
Besides the obvious of getting down and giving her good look around? Carfax came back clean as a lease return out of Modesto, CA. I live down in Oregon and the car is just north of Seattle. 2000 CLK 430, burgandy red (whats the MB name for the color?), light grey leather interior. It has a rear sunshade, what else came with that package? Also it doesnt have the normal 17 inch AMG wheel, cant tell what they are from the ****ty pic, anyone have any ideas. well let me know what you think of her.

stuff to look out for:
make sure the windows express close w/o dropping back down - this is a problem on the W208.
If you have the rear sunshade you most likely have the K3 package (sunroof, rear power shade, rain sensor wipers) check to make sure the sunroof express opens (no express close) without binding or dragging.
If you have the xenon lights (K4 package) it will include heated seats - make sure the headlights (actually all exterior lights while you're at it) work properly. Make sure both heated seats (if the car has them) work on the seat bottom and backrest - sometimes the heater element breaks down.
The power seats are 10 way - make sure all the adjustments work, and check the power mirrors for operation.
Individual options available:
heated seats
multicontour seats (there are small controls for the pneumatic bladders)
CD changer (would be in the right side well in the trunk floor)
cell phone
Make sure that no warning lights (check engine, ESP, BAS or brake) are staying on - if they are, make it a condition that those items are fixed.
Check that the automatic climate control and fan work properly. Make sure the FM radio section receives stations well - antenna amplifiers were problematic in some cars.
PS: the color was Bordeaux Red metallic. You probably have the Ash color interior from your description.
Those wheels are an alternate style MB wheel...you can probably find stock 430 AMG 5 spokes as take offs - lot of folks do wheel swaps.
