18x10 rear wheels, what offset?

Compared to your existing wheel on CLK (8,5 x 17 et30), this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 16.1mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 22.1mm more than before, this calculation based on spacers. Without spacers, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 32.1mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 6.1mm more than before. I have 8,5" and et30 and the rim is nearly in line with the back fender, I plan to go for 9,5 x 19 et48 hoping for clearance on the inside ( 30,7mm) and only 5,3mm extension on the outside. Haven't tried the rims yet but hope to figure that out in December since the wheels are located elsewhere. Using some stretch on the tires is of course needed, I thinking 275 or 265 on 9,5". For 10" 275 might work? I have not seen any one using 9,5" or 10" without the rim peeking outside the fender.

An uppdate, I found a webbsiite https://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/in.../mercedes-benz and there is an option för 10" rims on CLK using et29.

These wheels will fit perfectly on your car with the right ET. Don't go wider than than 265 tires in the rear. Very nice looking on a CLK.
