More inspections=more problems

More inspections=more problems
So i just got my axle fixed that i posted about a while back. But the dealership finds another problem. When i asked them to check about the car's vibrating at speed they find FOUR BENT WHEELS. 
so needless to say, i am not happy. From what tire rack is telling me its going to be pricey (1200) to replace them (AMG 5 spoke thin spoke 17"). Any recommendations? Anyone know anyone in the classifieds selling or other ideas?

If I were in your shoes I would upgrade my wheels now unless I had brand new rubber on them then I might go with the stock wheels/size.

Sorry to hear about all your problems. It dosen't sound like the previous owner(s) took care of the the car at all. I know you bought it in Chicago, any chance it was from Bentley Gold Coast? I looked at four different CLK55's at that dealership and they were all abused. Ended up buying my car in Chapel Hill.
If you want your wheels fixed check out Spaugh Motors on First st, just past Burke st. They can repair most dented wheels for $60.

I will mos def. check out Spaugh Motors. Great to see someone else from W-S on here, i thought i was the only one. The car was from Bridgeview,IL near Chicago from a private sale, the car really isnt in great shape, but i guess i can fix it up. Who do you take your 55 to for maintenance? ive been using Mercedes Benz of Winston Salem, they do a great job but are expensive. Also, do you know of any good body shops in the area?

Yeah I just noticed your location today. Seems most people are in CA, NY or FL. I still have factory warranty on my car so I'm going to M-B of W-S too. As for a good body shop check out Ian's Body Shop on S. Marshall, south of Old Salem. I've had some work done there and they do a great job and are a cheaper than other shops.

Nice, you're a godsend. I already caleed Spaugh Motors and am going to use them most likely next week. Im going to call Ian's Body Shop later for some paint work quotes.

My car is a black on black CLK 320 (most i can afford right now as a college student), i bought it used and it came with a truckload of problems. The wheels (which i'm getting fixed next weekend (but thanks for the offer frankus)), Leaky axle (replaced), Swirl marks (getting fixed my me as soon was Wake lets us off for Thanksgiving Break), one small rusty spot (getting fixed when i get my rubrails painted), and a slowly dying sunroof (no plans for fixing). I decided that i could be really bitter about it or look at it as sort of an opportunity for restoration. I decided to do the latter. I'll post pics later in the month after its swirl free. Oh and H-Man, what kinda work did you have done at Ian's? I want to have them paint the gray rub rails that go around the car to match the body black color.

Fixing your car up is the best solution, they are quality cars and once your done I'm sure the all black CLK will look great.
