Kleemannized Lorinser CLK
My CLK 320 is in the shop getting Kleemannized with a Kleeman Supercharger. It is supposed to get 330HP with 410Nm of torque when done. The car already has full Lorinser body kit and LM5 wheels. How should I badge this car when done? Any suggestions? How about LORINSER CLK32K?

CLK 430 Cab Designo
I would just go with either a Kleeman or Lorinser
but you don't want it too busy looking. Just my 2c. My car (which is AMG body/BRABUS/designo everything else) just has the Brabus emblem at the back. It looks cleaner

Cool, i have a question man
How much does it cost for you to Kleemannize you 320? 330hp?! Dang, that's a like a mega power boost..that's almost fricken AMG 55! Does adding a Kleemann supercharger to your car require upgrades to the exisiting chassis and brakes? What does that entire package add up to? Would it be just better to get a CLK 55 AMG?
My pop has a clk320 and i also bug him about adding mods and stuff to it, but he never listens to me.
hahaha, add as for the badging...just leave it as CLK 320...then you whup the heck out of someone in a race they'll think..."How in the hell did that V-6 320 beat me?!

Seriously?
It only cost $8,400 for the Kleeman supercharger that boost horsepower to 330 and torque to 420?! Dang, that's a quite a deal. I might want to do that...but i've never seen a Mercedes tuner anywhere in the Bay Area, CA. I think most of them are in Southern California?

Thanks guys
8,400$ for just the supercharger...don't i have to upgrade my brakes, shocks and everything to compensate for the upgraded power? I mean...from 215hp to 330hp is alot!

Yes, 215-330HP is a lot, but Kleemann products are designed to be completely functional with the existing parts of the car. Most people choose to upgrade their suspension and/or wheels and brakes at the same time, however it is not mandatory. You may find that with the added power from the Kleemann Supercharger, these other upgrades will help bring out more life from the car.
Thanks

although the kompressor is relatively cheap at $8400, but with other upgrades like suspension, brakes, rims, and bodykits that would top you over $13k or more. with that money, you can get a CLK430 in the first place.

true, true, but i would stilll take the V8 over the V6 if i get a CLK. the V8 just sounds better. besides, after the upgrade all the warranty will be void, and when the time comes to service the car it will cost more than the stock CLK430.

Where I'm not following you is regarding servicing the car. Nothing has changed in the servicing of my car. Everything is located in the same position it was before (minus the airfilter). My services have been and always will be covered under the scheduled maintenance program. In fact, my the service department at my dealership seems to love working on my car. They put 15 miles on it just changing the door checks! The only service that the dealer can't perform is the 2,000 mile Kleemann checkup.
Thanks

.............There are two reasons I decided not to switch to a CLK 430. The first reason is explained by the picture below. The secopnd reason is that a stock CLK 430 produces 275HP and 295lb-ft of torque. Kleemann claims that a supercharged CLK 320 will produce 330 HP and 310lb-ft of torque. Recall that a CLK 55 produces 345HP. So, if the claim by Kleemann is correct, then a CLK 430 is not even in the same league as a CLK32K. Besides there are other tricks you can use to coax 350HP from a Kleemannized CLK 320. So, the theory is makes sense, I am not sure how it will work out in practice. My car is in the SHOP now. I will let you know.
