CLK Recalls
Hey guys,
I am taking my 04 CLK320 for Service A on thursday and i wanted to know if there are any recent recalls i should know of to bring up to the SA....also are there any common problems i should also throw at them? i know my car doesnt stay straight when driving and i have a non functioning cigarette lighter adapter so ill let them know about that but maybe there are other things i missed.......
i appreciate your advice
ps with an 04 model are brakes free of charge?

problems ive ran into so far:
cig lighter, alignment veers to the right, passenger side seet headrest doesnt go down all the way, light bulbs blowin out, middle console shifter pops out, cup holder doesnt close correctly, windows sometimes rolls down when rolling up, same with sunroof, windows rattles, seating memory would forget itself.

just took my car and stated my problems, as i entered my office i knew i forgot a couple of things lol....i never got a cargo net! and when i took delivery of the car the rear rim had curb damage but i guess they would laugh at me for that
And of course i visited the showroom all i can say is WOW soveiregn mercedes in brooklyn has got it going on!! in the window a white clk cab with full lorinser kit and 19inch chrome lorinser lm6 i think theyre called (looks like a fan) then a green sl500 with 20 inch carlssons(this car was stunning! i never saw green!) then to top it off a graphite designo cls500 WOW i sat in it and i gotta say its pretty nice i want to trade my car in for that! there was also an all black maybach i dont know why it was tucked in near the c230ss lol....anyways got my 05 c320 loaner car hope theyll give my car back soon

thanks ill try it when i get the car back but the car was delivered in october i dont think they will let me get away with driving it nearly 6 months without curbing the rims (i never did on that rim honestly, only the opposite side i slammed into a curb while sliding out in the snow)
i dont think i will get away with it!! but i would love a new set of lorinsers if they have lol but honestly i think the 320 sport rims are one of the hottest designs (imho they look better than the 04 amgs for the 500)

hey
got the car back, they said the alignment was messed up so they fixed it......now the car veers to the left!! although they did not charge me for anything they said they found a slight bend in my front rim (no pressure given on purchasing a new one) so thats what might be causing the veering to either side...other than that things look good i thought they would take off my benz license plate frames and put theirs on but they let it slide lol
its good to have it back home!
