Smile The best Forum on MBworld

I was really bored and was reading some of other forums in this website, and I have to say that the 'New CLK-Class (W209)' is the forum with most sophisticated, polite and well-educated people...

I read two threads about putting AMG badges on non-AMG cars, and there were insults and racial comments and foul languages everywhere...

So I thank you guys~

p.s. would you put an AMG badge on your CLK's?? especially 500's since it comes with AMG wheels/body kit??

The W209 CLK forum is very good indeed.

NEVER. It is not a true AMG and I give the people respect who get the AMG's. The same goes for people with M3's.

My thinking with those things is very simple.

The hardcore motorheads and Benz enthusiasts who know the value of an AMG badge are also wise enough to realise when a car is real or fake and will look at you with pity and as being a "try hard".

All those fake M3 guys are kidding themselves!!

Whereas, the people who know very little about cars will just see a Mercedes and have no idea what an AMG badge is so why even bother.

NOTE:
To see if an M3 is real look at the speedo and tacho needles.

Red = real, white=fake
