Tire pressure ?

What is the correct tire pressure for the following? The tire side walls say max. 50lbs, but that seems to be too high.

Kumho Ecast SPT -

Front 235/35/19
Rear 265/30/19

Take a look where you put gas in your car... in the little door that covers the filler cap, you'll find all the information you require.

Amazing that aint it

those numbers also applies to non-stock rims and tires? I thought it will be different ?

I'd go for something along the lines of what is shown, the sticker placed by Merc is generic for all rims they sell I believe, they don't change it if you change Merc rims.

32 Front 34 Back should be fine.

Since you're running low profile rims, I would go with 40 front and 36 rear. I've bent 3 wheels going with the recommended pressure after hitting some bad potholes. This will save you the headache.

But over inflating your tyres can wear them out quicker.

Hey i read a article that said you should chalk a line across you tires then drive to see if underinflated or overinflated in a case where you do not know the correct psi.

I'd go 36 in front and 38 in the rear with the 19s. Remember to do this at COLD psi.

Very true, but with 35 series tires you're advised to go with 40 up front. Would you rather buy tires a little bit sooner, or buy a new wheel? I guess it depends on how bad your streets are. The potholes here are pretty bad. Upside is that your car will handle a little more responsively at higher pressures. But yes, there's a tradeoff for everything.
