My W208 may be lost forever and I have the opportunity to buy a 2004 CLK 500 (CPO) with extended factory warranty extended untill 100K. It has 46K on it now. VERY clean and runs well too.
I really like it but would love to hear from current owners.....What do you all think. Are you in love or wish you hadn't? Are the problems biggies or small annoying things? Please respond with your feelback...good and bad!
Thanks as always,

I like mine, the only thing that annoys me is that its not very modable. I should have gone with an f/i car. But the 339tq is still enough to get the job done.
This is a great overall car. Looks, interior luxury, smooth suspension, decent enough handling, solid power, cool little features (the seatbelt thingy), room in the back seats, and class.
If thats what you're into then go for it

My last car was an 00 CLK 430. I loved it but the problems I had with it just wore me out. Build quality of the CLK 500 just seems so much better. Its been so long since it has needed anything maintenance/repairs, I can't even remember the name of my service advisor right now!!!!
I love mine. Classy, Sporty, powerful, fabulous interior, comfortable and seats my wife and our child. It's the perfect car for me.
I haven't had any problems yet - but people have reported that '03s and '04s have a potential problem with coolant leaking into and destroying the transmission - but if you've got the extended warranty, you're covered.
Biggest "problem" for me is not enough cup holders !
It may not be as moddable as other cars or as sports-car-like as a BMW or Corvette but I don't think it can be beat for a luxury / sports car with a stellar engine.

Two thumbs up.
I have had my CLK500 for almost three years now and I still have the same smile on my face when I drive it that I had three years ago. The car has been extremely reliable; the only two issues I had were catalytic converter making some noise, and the window rattling in passanger side door. Both of them were promptly resolved by Mercedes Benz Canada under the warranty. Other than that, the car runs like a dream. The 302 hp engine may seem a bit tame compared to the more recent engines, but it is still plenty powerful for the need for speed.
