i just recently realized that you could buy a hardtop for your cabrio for winter drives. heres the website http://www.clkhardtop.com/ so i was wondering if any of you guys have a hardtop for your w209? i really want one. but that website dont have a order feature. dont know if u guys know anywhere esle i could order one. thanks

I got an email back from the guy. $7000 for the hardtop which includes shipping from Germany. Yikes.

What's wrong with the soft top for the winter? I use it here in New Hampshire all winter long, and while I'm ginger on taking the snow off the top, it's fine and doesn't care.

You ought to take into consideration that your soft top will be folded during the whole time you have the hard top in place. Which means:
- very thorough cleaning and drying before you do so,
- high likelood of having creases in the cloth, at least until the next downpour
- the fabric will probably be a bit weakened in the areas where it had been folded for so long.
