I'm debating if i should put black wheels w/ red lip on my black CLK500. What do you guys think? HELP!!!

not a fan of black wheels but look around maybe you will like silver finish wheels.

I am also having the same delima....I have "blacked out" everything else but dont know weather to go with all black, black w/ chrome lip or black with red lip? Also where to look for mercedes aftermarket rims? There are some on ebay but I am weary about them...where or what should we do?

It's a matter of personal preference, but I think it would be sweet! That black on black look, with a trace of red would be very nice...

I think that would look great on the Clk if you paint the callipers red. The red lip on the wheels would then have something to relate to.

I also think that it would look great only on black car.

EXACTLY!...With some red calipers it would look great. Also what color is the interior? Look at the CLK above. Aside from the wheels looking horrible the whole black and red effect clashes with his interior. If you don't have a black interior you should tint the windows.

I think the skinny red line can look good on black wheels.

That is SO true! I looked at that CLK with the big fat red line on those wheels and BARF!

The thin red line on the Porsche looked gnarly, fast and sweet. But I think without the red calipers it would just be so-so.

So it sounds like I should go buy a black Porsche with red calipers and red-lined wheels. I should really easy to pick up chicks then!

are u lookin for a red lip or red time attack (pinstripe)......i wouldnt do the red lip but u can pull off the time attack but u have to have an aggressive setup to compliment those wheels...

i did the black on black theme too, but i decided to use black and chrome instead.

what size rim and tire combo is this and did you change the springs so it wouldnt scrub in the rear?? thanks Jamie C

go for it ... it will also look better of the rear wheel had a lip & the car was dropped
