they'll fit, but you should think about running a spacer on the rears due to high offset for a 9" rear.

+1 and will probably need some extended bolts too if you decide to run the spacers.

I just bought some 18x8.5 fronts and 18x9.5 rear OEM AMG rims for my Stock W209 CLK. What tire size/brand should I go with to avoid rubbing and having to roll my fenders?

I'm running 225/40 and 255/35 on the same size rims.

Can I fit 255/35ZR18/RF 94Y on a Wheel Size Range of 9x18 (Rear) and
225/40ZR18/RF 92Y on a Wheel Size Range of 8.5x18 (Front).

I want to make sure the ride will be smooth and no vibration is caused by these wheels.

Thanks!

This is my config.

18x8.5 Front offset=32
18x9.5 Rear offset=35

I'm running the stock tire sizes you listed. I believe the stock wheels I replaced are 7.5x18 and 8x18....................... f/r

There was some minute rubbing on the fronts. The wear point was on the forward center of the wheel well covers. This was due ( I believe) to the worn OE struts that were being run outside their design limits with the lowering springs.

I think you should be fine with the setup you described.

Fatz, I am looking to go that exact setup (rim size, offset, etc.). Where was the rubbing on the front? If I replace my springs, shocks/struts would there be rubbing? Looking on input from people who have ET32 and ET35 on 18" wheels. My stock wheel sizes are 17 x 7.5 and 17 x 8.5.

You shouldn't have a problem. My car is lowered and when there was a small bit of rubbing I was still running the original OE struts and shocks. They were not designed for the lowered ride in the first place; then they were badly worn. The rubbing was between the threads and the bumper at the vertical and horizontal center of the wheel well cover.

It was very minute and I never felt or heard the rub. I coat my front wheel wells with the same coating I use on the tires, so it was easy for me to see there was some rubbing. I believe the rubs were occurring when turning and shifting the load on worn struts/shocks.

If you don't have the combination of worn shocks and lowered, I doubt you will have any rubbing. Like I said, the rubbing I "had" was minute. New struts and shocks are now installed. The last time (about 2 weeks ago) I did a quick once over of the well cover, I didn't notice the usual place with an absence of coating.

You shouldn't have a problem.

Since I'm gonna go with custom wheels and I can choose the offset, would there be a better offset than ET32 and ET35? I'm gonna use the Eibach Pro Kit (1.2" drop front and rear) and Bilstein B8 shocks.

On a side note, do you rub when you have items/passengers in the back?

I have never had any issues with the rears using this setup. I don't have passengers too often but I've never had any issues when my wife (any all her luggage) travels with me or there is a passenger in the back seat. (Don't think I've ever had two passengers in the rear seat.)

The front wheels are pushed to the edge of the fender and, IMO, are perfect.

The rears could set outward a bit more. I tried 12mm spacers once but 12mm is too much as I could feel a difference in the handling and road feel. I will try the 12mm again in a couple months; now that I have good shocks. But I think 5mm or 3mm spacers is what I would need for the rear, as the 12mm also put the tires too close to the fenders for me.

I think that would make the rear offset 30 or 32 and I think that will keep the tires just inward of the fender inner edge.

Do you have any closeups of the wheel stance? That would greatly help
