What wheels are these?

Can anyone identify these wheels?
Wondering if they'll fit a CLK.
Owner says they're from a 2005 E500 but I don't think so.

Thanks for the responses.
I wonder if they'll fit my 03 CLK?
The interesting thing is that this set, I'm being told, are 8's and 9's X 18's with an offset of 30 and 39 respectively.

if it really came off from CLK500 you wont have any problem with your CLK320. Are those OEM or knock offs ? Check the wheels first before you buy it.

Is your clk lowered? if not, they should fit, but you might need a small spacer in the rear. my friend was leasing an e500 with the sport package and it had those wheels on it. i don't remember what year it was though.GL

No, I don't plan on lowering it. It'll be my wife's daily driver. Just needed wheels that would fit better than the ones I have on right now and also better quality.
I think I've determined that these wheels are indeed are from a W211.

These wheels are definitely from a W211 e-class, no other car runs those offsets on those size wheels.

They will not fit your W209 without spacers on the back. Even at standard ride height.

The SL wheels have a much lower offset than these.

Scary the amount of misinformation when it comes to wheels.
I think you're right about the rear. Seems as though it's about 5mm too tight. Would you suggest 5mm spacers? If so, what's the general consensus of who to buy them from?
Thanks

I also forgot to mention that the W211 uses M14 wheel bolts, as opposed to the M12 bolts used in our W209's.

It is posible to get hold of adapter bolts, but they're almost impossible to get hold of.

I'm in the UK myself and there is only one supplier of the right type of bolt, with M12 thread, but with a M14 head to seat in the wheel correctly.

Here are the wheels you have pictured:
http://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/mer..._iii_wheel_681

Here are the CLK equivalents :
http://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/mer..._iii_wheel_429

You can see the CLK wheels are half an inch slimmer than the W211 wheels.

For reference, these are the SL wheels, which do fit straight on without spacers and are wider than the W211 wheels.
http://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/mer..._iii_wheel_117

The site i link to can be taken as gospel, he is a specialist about 15 miles from me and the only importer of the adapter bolts i referred to earlier.

I think the moral of the story is, avoid these wheels unless you get them DIRT cheap, then it may be worth getting spacers and adapter bolts...

Well, I'm stuck with these wheels since I thought from the earlier posts that the wheels would fit.
I'm guessing a 5mm spacer would do the trick but I've never heard about the different bolt head. I thought all Mercedes lug nuts used the same conical seat??? And s**t, I didn't even know they used different threading! What's up with that??!

Theoretically a 5mm spacer should work for you on the back.
Best to get friendly with a local tyre shop and try some 5mm out and make sure the wheel sits fine.

The bolt issue catches a lot of people out.
The usual M12 bolts from your car should hold the wheels on, but the conical "flange" part of the bolt is smaller on your bolts than should be used for the wheel, hence making the running of the wheels with your bolts unsafe.

If you try one of your bolts in one of the wheels you'll see what i mean, you really need the bigger bolts with the M14 radius seat to fit the wheels properly.

Mercedes use M14 threaded bolts on all s-classes, e-classes from 2003, v-class's, ML's and GL's...Would have been nice if they had kept to a single standard!

Should I be okay using the CLK wheel bolts if only using as a daily driver?
I'm starting to worry!

I wouldn't, especially for the safety of my wife and family...A wheel coming off at only 30mph could be a major disaster if she was going round a corner which is when it's likely to break off.

Sorry to give you such a pessimistic view on the subject, but compromising safety on something like this really isn't worth saving myself a few $$'s

Here's a update to this thread.
I'm guessing there are quite a few folks running E211 wheels or similar on their W210 or W209 cars.
I even called Ronal (the OEM manufacturer for Mercedes wheels) and was told to not use the M12 bolts on and an M14 wheel.
Apparently this company sources the correct bolts for a very reasonable price.
