replace speaker in 05 clk500
I would like to improve the sound a little. Any advice on replacing the front door speakers?

Hey thanks for the reply dyno.. I was about to post a thread like this too...

Anyway... does anybody know what size is the speaker in the dash? the big speaker in the dash just above the center console? I wanted to replace that with a 13inch JL subs just to save me from trouble with setting up a powered speaker... if it is possible of course...

I don't know the size but I think I read that if it's a non Bose it doesn't have a center speaker

I may try the Infinity Reference 6030cs with the stock radio and amp. The 6030cs are 2 ohms and have a sensitivity of 93. Worth a try perhaps...
