+1. I don't know how the Smog laws are where you live, but in Cali; headers are a no-no and you're car can be impounded (and sold in some cases). If the laws weren't so strict, I would do the MBH Longtube headers (for maximum bang for the buck). With these headers, plus the intakes you showed on the other thread (https://mbworld.org/forums/clk-class...5-intakes.html), and a custom tune; you should be in the 450+ Crank HP range

kleeman makes em http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/k...9-p-56210.html
If I were you (chasing raw power for acceleration - drag racing) I would go with a set of Kleemann headers. I chose the AMS because in my intended application, ones the revs get up, they will stay up (roadcourse racing).

Since his car is very new and don't have to think about smog check (if he's from the US), this is the header to get. The gain is hard to believe but they got dyno proven. When I get mine Slk55, this is the head I'm gonna get....

Yeah......they did alot of good stuffs like retrofited the AMG Kompressor to works on the the NA C55 engine. I meet both of the guys when they came over Cali for the 1/4 mile track meet. They were doing 11s flat in 1/4 miles.

Bad, buy the Kleemann headers and be done with it mate, they are about half the price of Renny's.

2006 CLK 500, wife's is a 2014 E3504M
what do you think you're driving a honda? half the ***** done to these cars does nothing fyi besides a little extra air flow, unless you're gonna add forced induction, engine swaps, or something that really produces power, bolt on modifications are the biggest waste of money as it is. i just did an exhaust on my car so i can growl and did a renntech ecu tune from a guy who has all the software and used to work for a mercedes tune shop. both of those together were under $500. headers, intakes, blah blah blah won't produce anything worth while. and i'm all for modifications, i've had a chunk of fully built cars before including two m3's, a fully built 240sx, etc etc.
just my pointOHtwo.
