My 2003 CLK 500

This was the only place I could place my pics at. My file size of my pics were to big to put on the site. Just tinted my windows today with 5% all around and put on some 18's. Let me know what you guys think. Will be posting better pics up there soon.

Nope those are enkei lm's. They are 18's. 265 40 18 in the rear and 225 40 18 in the front. The pics dont do the wheels justice. I plan on getting better pics taken when it stops raining.

Are you sure you have the correct tire size at the rear??? It should be 255/35/18!! Or if you want to put 265/35/18, then you should have 235/40/18 up front.

Should I feel a difference. The car drives just like the original wheels were on it. Is it going to mess anything up?

225/40/18 has an overall diameter if 25.1", 265/40/18 has an overall diameter of 26.3". Your front and rear wheels should have the same diameter. Now that your rear wheels are bigger by quite a bit, I would have to guess that your speedo must be off by quite a bit. Who told you to go for those sizes?

the place that i bought the wheels from. The tires were already staggered from the factory wheels, with bigger tires on the back. Should I put 235's on then.

Cant believe they will recommend those sizes! Better stay away from them!!

A standard factory staggered setup is 225/45/17 and 245/40/17. Your rear size is causing the problem, not the front, unless you change the whole set of tires to 235/40/18 and 265/35/18. I would suggest you to change the rears and get 255/35/18. You are only changing 2 tires instead of 4.

But on a second thought, maybe you shouldnt stay away from that tire shop YET! Ask them to take back your rears and exchange for 255's, because they messed up the whole thing!! They should be MUCH knowledgable than that!!!!
