New here and buying this week!
I have a deposit on a 2004 CLK500 coupe and was wondering peoples thoughts on if its a deal. Car books for 18600 and im getting it for 14k.Has 93k and Has a couple of nicks in the paint but drove it for about an hour and loved it. Imput would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure you get a PPI from a dealer or a reputable independent shop. Repairs are not cheap....

and it looks like it is missing the front fender cover... not sure. Double check that before. It costs like 50 at the dealer

I would like to mod it. Not like it still has a warranty. What does everyone think is the best way to go? I know I want to chip it maybe get full exhaust brake kit but don't know what else to do

It is missing the fender cover. I can't beat the dealer up anymore on the price. I can't even get a spare out of him. That's gonna cost me 270 alone

You might want to buy the extended warranty first before you thinking of anything else....based on your post your car has 93k miles right ?

My answer would be no, just make sure you get at least 1 year full warranty and not 6 months or so. Some dealerships even gives 24 months warranty. But that usually for newer used cars.

The dealer is a jerk he won't even give me a full tank of gas. Nor would he run a carfax on it I'm going to check before I pick it up
