Hi guys
i found this thread while googling for wheels fitment for my c209
i am thinking to get a second hand ADV10 but they are 20" staggered at 9.5" and 10.5" ET 50, with tyres 245/30 & 285/25, they are off a C212
would appreciate your two cents

Ok, I'm confused and need some help with my 2003 CLK500. I have the AMG 17" staggered rims with the 225's in front and the 245's in back, and I like the look. One of the fronts is bent and cannot be fixed, so I am thinking it might be time to go to 18's. Can anyone tell me if these 18's will fit my stock CLK500 and look better?
This is a staggered set of 18 inch Mercedes-Benz AMG rims:
FRONT 7 1/2 Jx18 H2ET7 A1711041602
REAR 8 1/2 Jx18 H2ET30 A1714011702
I'm thinking the front should be 37, right? So maybe it's a typo? I cannot imagine a 7 offset for any MBZ wheels.
Thanks for your help!

Hello everyone,
I have been searching all over the forum and other websites but I can not find a proper answer. My question is regarding my tires size since I have 18x8.0 et35 rims all squared with 225/40/18. I want to upgrade it to 225/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rear. Would that be possible for 18x8.0 to adopt 255/35 without rubbing or being squuezed on the rims. Or should i put 245/40/18 rear and put 10 mm spacers. Please I'm looking for a quick response. Sorry I dont have a pic of my car!!!

I am looking to change my OEM stock 17" wheels on my 05 CLK 500. I have stock suspension, stock everything. I found these AMG Replicas: http://www.oewheelsllc.com/Wheels_3/...4#.UiPqLdJwr9q Those are not staggered but these are: http://www.usarim.com/wheels-rims-fi...ms-p-1230.html
Which one will be better for my car?I don't want to have any problems. It's kind of like Sweet jones's rims but 18" and no lowering of any kind. Should I lower it? Will there be any rubbing, hassles, etc? Thanks

Yes that will work. You won't need spacers either.

Thanks AvocentAMG! I would assumed you have tried this size in your car? Any noticeable difference in the handling? Btw NICE set up you have there

This could work with the tire size you've chosen.
I ran R: 18x9.5 ET15 with 265/35 in the rear and rubbed like crazy. 235 will give you a nice stretch.
The fronts you'll have to go 215, if not lower. ET20 is really low for the front.

235 in the front would be too much?

That's a little wide for the front.
I'd go with 225 or even 215

Trial setup with the offset above, I know it looks like a jeep now, drop is pending after wheels setup all goodOriginally Posted by AvocentAMG

ADV10, picked 18x9J on all corners for its deep concave.
F - 10mm spacers > ET30
R - 20mm spacers > ET20

235 40 18 at the front now, inner clearence is scary tight, but they are clear, will swap to 225 soon anyway.

Currently considering an almost-new set of Avant Garde M510 19" wheels for my CLK550 Cab with stock suspension. Rears are 9.5", fronts 8.5", and all 40ET. Would run 255's in rear and 225's in front. I currently have 15mm rear (rolled fenders) and 10mm H&R spacers on stock 18" AMG wheels. Will the M510 19's work with 40ET work? Will I need my current spacers on the M510 19's?
BTW, what are the stock specs for 18" wheels on my CLK550 Cab.....width, backspacing and offset?
thanks

40 et with 15mm rear and 10mm front would work.

I had the rear fenders rolled to allow for 15mm spacers on the stock 18" wheels.......I really like their flush look. Will the 19's (9.5/40ET) with 15mm spacers on the rear have the same flush look? No rubbing expected??Originally Posted by omega48er

I put 18x9J ET40 with 20mm spacer in the rear and it still have plently of room, I think I can go 5mm more to flush it, but of course it still depends on what tires you are using, myself put 235 on 9J.Originally Posted by Dandaco

I'll be putting on 255's in the rear. I'm not knowledgable enough on the subject to know if the 19/9.5 wheels with 40ET + 15mm spacers amount to the same face fit as the stock wheels with 15mm. Anyone?Originally Posted by boyg
