Need help with quad tip setup on 05 clk500 cab
Currently I just have the original single tip on my 05 clk 500 cab however id like to do a quad amg tip setup. The car already has the amg package so the rear bumper is good to go. My question is which tips are the ones to get (replica ones) Im not looking to modify the muffler in anyway or spend a lot of money on this. I dont mind having a fake side. Just looking for some info on how to get this done. Thanks

Having a fake tip isn't the way to go pal, it's very easy to make it functional, tons of different options threaded here in this forum.

iv already done some searches however most of what im seeing is custom muffler jobs which would cost upwards of $500 when there done. Can someone point me in the right direction of which replica tips are the right ones to get? Iv seen several different types on ebay

if you do go with the fake stuff, you will have to come up with a way to mount/ attach / hang the tips on the back of the bumper. The bumper will need to be modified / cut in order to take the new fake tips and make them look like the belong in there.
I have not checked how much room you have back there but can you split one of the tail ends like this?

Mine is fake tips but funtional just like a real quad exhaust. It blow smoke out of the 4 AMG tips. My factory muffler got 1 inlet and 2 outlet. It got 2 tips on the left outlet and 2 tips on the right outlet. In reality, my setup is just like a real quad setup like people that used Magnaflow muffler. The main different it the location of the muffler. Mine is at the stock location and other place it at middle/center of the car. Mine mods is cheap and easy to do. To the new guys, don't ask me for pic of mine setup. Do a search, please.
