Yes, definitely repairable. If you could shoot me some clearer pics, I could help you out. I have bought a couple sets before that were cracked and missing tabs and I repaired them. Haven't had any complaints from the buyers.

Glad to hear that. As soon as i get my hands on the headlights i will shoot you pix. The seller noticed the crack during shipping, he said it runs in the mid of the pic and goes to where the ballast or bulb goes into.

It shouldn't be too hard of a fix. Here is one of my repairs. The hole was huge! I used some weather proof tape, then some putty, then some silicone to seal it. Everything came out great. Not the prettiest looking thing, but it got the job done.

So Dyno, i just got 1 of the headlights i purchased. This is not the one with the crack-the seller said it was PERFECT. However i noticed a bit of wearing on the side of the headlight? is this normal?

I would have to get a better look when I get to a computer tomorrow, but I think it's ok.

That headlight is fine. Unless there is a big hole AND water got in they are pretty much repairable.

So it looks like it's a crack. The clips still work fine, but it's just a minor crack. From the looks of it i don't think it prevents any functional parts-but i'm no expert. If it works, what can i do to patch it up and keep water from getting in there? What kina glue/cocking?

NOTE: in the 1st pic, i'm pulling the plastic open..

You definitely need to seal it so no moisture gets in. Since it's just a crack, you could probably use some silicone.

Glad to hear that. You think while we figure out which silicone to use, should i put some super glue on the cracked parts to stick them together? Then the Silicone on top?

You could try that, not sure how it will hold with that plastic.

I'll try dabbing a bit. Let me know what silicone you used...i can't wait to throw these bad boys on

PS-how'd you match you FOGs and Xenons? I purchased a set of HID's from HIDEXTRA for my fogs that are 6000k and i wanna buy a bulb for the Xenon's that are 6000k's but i dunno what brand is good. And will they light somewhat match with my HID fogs? Lastly DRL(lil light under hi-beam) should i use to match everything?

So i did a couple coats of Krazy Glue and this is what turned out. You can barely see the crack anymore, the glue is covering it. Now i'll need to apply Silicone on top of the glue to keep the moisture from going in? Should i also apply some light silicone from the inside?

Update, so i was cleaning the lights and i found out yet another crack by the bracket. This one is a bit bigger so i can't just glue it-and i need silicone. I went ahead and purchased a GE waterproof silicone, just wanted to hear how i should apply it. Should i clean the plastic area and apply this all over the cracks? Thanks for the help in advance.

Yup, just clean it a apply the silicone. Here is a link to the one I used. I would apply some silicone over the glue just to be safe. You don't want to remove the lights to fix it after they are installed.

As for the lights, I bought the low beams and fogs from HIDextra (6000k). I got the white LED city lights from seller polyled on ebay.

UPDATE: Ok so the Xenon's went on. The driver side does not work, my tech told me i "might" need new bulbs? How much are bulbs? And if need be, how much is the oem ballast? Lastly, COULD I GO TO THE DEALERSHIP AND FINDOUT IF ITS THE BULBS OR SOMETHING ELSE?I'm gonna just place an order for 6000k bulbs if i need bulbs.

I hate to tell you this, but I have encountered many of these 'newer' style headlights with the "it won't work problem" and have not been able to fix any of them. In fact I have had 3 that I had to eat and 1 that the seller took back. In working with an MB master tech and spending hours we could not fix the issue on them and we replaced everything that is replaceable. It seems these newer ones have a problem. Its the reason I installed the older ones with the round turn signal since these don't seem to just go bad. I hope for your sake its just a bulb or ballast. Good luck.
