Fuel Injection Cleaner
Somehow my local stores do not carry Red Line anymore.
I read that Chevron Techron Fule Injector Cleaner is a good product.

Do they sell this in Chevron gas stations?

yup and they sell at kragen, advanced auto parts, autozone, etc. i say hold off until they have a bogo free and get two.

i use it every 3k mi just for peace of mind

Only fuel additive allowed by MB, btw.

There are two types recently.

Shell 93 gas is blended with it in the Northeast US.

Did you mean that this Chevron product is approved by MB?

I read it somewhere that RedLine was approved by BMW.

but supposedly its just a concentrate

I just got a few bottles of the Techron Concentrate Plus.
The bottle says it may be beneficial to repeat this treatment twice in row.

I did not add any fuel treatment for 1-2 years, Should I repeat?

Yes, follow directions then you can go to the 3k interval. Only Techron is given the MB imprimatur.

If your car is rough are you throwing any codes or need to change your intake air filters? When was the last time you replaced your spark plugs?

My car is not rough.

I replaced the following:
Fuel filter: Jan-15,2011
Oil and filter change: 26-Mar-2011
Spark plugs change: 26-Mar-2011

So, after this current tank is also finished, should I put in another bottle of this Techron at next fill up?

is chevron progard safe to use? The oreilly stores dont carry Techron Concentrate Plus Fuel..
