Hey, Guys.
I hope everything is going well with all of you.
I am the owner of CLK 500.
And I got SL look grill for my car from Ebay: 55 tech
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mercedes-W20...t_11264wt_1103
and installed this stuff on my car today.
As you can see, there are many gaps between new grill and bonnet/front bumper.
Especially, there is unexpected gap between grill and front bumper.
So, I would like to ask all of you to let me know that is this normal?
Or, is my grill defective product?
Please let me know so that I can refund it.
Thank you guys~~

I hate to say it but yes that is normal as I bought the exact same grill from the same buyer.. What really annoys me is the gap between the hood and the top part of the grill and also the fact that it looks pushed in..
I saw another member who had the single fin grill on his clk 63 amg black series and it had perfect fitment but I don't know which seller he purchased it from .. It was definitely through eBay as well though and the centre star looked like the distronic star

Yes that is how your grill was poorly designed. There are two single bar grills on eBay. There is also a thread all about this.

I got the other one that doesn't have most of the gaps you are talking about and it looks good to me.
Here it is on eBay.

Hope that helps!

Thank you for your answer.
Can I have a quick question about your grill: the other design of mine.
Is there any gaps between the bottom part of your new grill and your front bumper?
The gap between my new grill and my front bumper makes me crazy...
Thank you.
ps)Is there any possibility to refund this poor grill?

As you could see, there is other design of grill below.
Is it the same grill which you saw on AMG 63?
Thank you.

From what I can see, there is no gap between the bottom of the grill and the front bumper. It's a pretty nice fit in my opinion. (Pictures attached) What drives me crazy in your grill is the gap between the top of the grill and the hood and also the filled mesh at 11 and 1 o'clock of the star. That's why I went with the one I got.Originally Posted by bbksh

Go to the bottom of the auction and it states the return policy. In short, you have to pay to ship it back to Canada, lose the shipping you paid, and pay 15% restocking. After paying $169.98, I think you'll get refunded around $118.99 and say it cost about $20 to ship back, you're looking at getting back only about $100 if it hasn't been more than 7 days already. Maybe ask them to waive the restocking fee?Originally Posted by bbksh

Yeh I know, it sucks. That's one of the downfalls of buying online. Gotta do your research first. You can try and sell the grill yourself but no guarantee that it'll be easy.

PM me and I will buy it from you. The gap does not bother me.
