Lightbulb LEATHER KEY COVER Anybody got one of these?

I've got one with my old BMW, and think it's a pretty good thing to have with our CLK remotes since the plastic buttons are prone to cracking after some time.

I just ordered one and thought to share it with you... maybe someone will find it handy as well

Btw I noticed that one of my keys is a bit bigger (like the one from the w208) is that the case with you all or just me? If so can it be changed to a new (chromed) remote like in the new E-class?

EDIT: Silly me, totally forgot to paste the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/AMG-LEATHER-...#ht_2143wt_905 sorry!

Yeah, we like to keep those things new and shiny for as long as possible

How much did you pay for it, if you don't mind me asking?

You should have bought a kevlar case for the key.

Small surprise, Dubai having one of the biggest standards in the world and all...

Any other tiny bits that make life easier? Suggestions are welcome

I use a BMW leather case of similar design to keep my chrome keys in as new condition.

This is the one I would go for. No metal parts to bang around & scratch things.

In my opinion, the chrome key is so good looking that it's a shame to hide it inside a holster.

Good thinking, that thought didn't occur to me. Unfortunately, even this one has two metal parts (the button and the pin), even the hooks and rings form the other ones like the brown one are removeable. I have no intention of wearing all that metal in the same pocket as my phone.

If only I had a chrome key... Only the plastic old ones for now.

I'm thinking the AMG one for now... or maybe the cream one

For me, the chrome MB key is the nicest car key I have ever seen.
I have an old w209 that came with the plastic keys. Both went defective and were replaced by chrome keys under warranty.

Fortunate mishap ^^

For me the nicest car key is Aston Martin's "emotion control unit"
