A personal review on the "sportiva HID Kit"

I am doing this so hopefully everyone can benefit from their products.

To clarify: I am not getting paid to post this and neither am i related to them in anyway

I have had their HID kit on my fog lights for 2 and half years now let me tell you they are AWESOME.

They have gone through 2 New England winters (snow salt rocks and w.e) several car washes bumbs and you name it and still work like a charm.

I ordered another set today just because of my paranoia. I have never had a HID set last me more than 1 year without changing at least the bulbs.

Price of the set is a little higher than everyone else but totally worth it IMO

And that's it

Glad o hear you're happy mate, so far so good with my HID Extra bulbs, just wired my conversion kit in for the fogs too now. We'll see how that goes.

I'm using 6000K, what are you using?

I actually had 5K in the headlights but they didn't match the 5K LED lights I had so I went up to a 6K bulb, they seem to match better now but I can swap back and forth if I need to, I have 5 & 6K bulbs for both my heads and fogs.

Thanks for the compliment pal, it's coming along, almost finally done. I sure hope to see some major progress when I see the car tomorrow, hope to have it back next week. Then, one last big project for the summer that will get done when I am in Canada for vacation

I've already got the front lip CF spoiler and the Vorsteiner rear deck one as well, so, nope, no more spoilers in my build

Do I need to bury that ballast somewhere and does it get hot? Otherwise plug and play?

i had it hanging with Velcro first. But over time it fell off. It would be good to mount it somewhere secure. As for getting hot there is plenty of air going in there to keep them cool so i wouldn't worry about that.
