Only non finisher. Right rear wheel left loose at pitstop leading to retirement. Rosberg lead from pole to finish > 20 seconds ahead.

Schumi is getting old. Rosberg had his measure even before the incident & in qualifying. Schumi is however a great development asset to the team & Ross in particular.

Schumi is not getting old, he is old indeed for being a professional race driver, but he still performs well IMHO. The bad luck is pursuing him this season, but he could probably have finished 2nd today. In addition he attracts tons of viewers and fans so he's an invaluable profits font for both the F1 and the Mercedes AMG F1 team. He won't win any championship but I think he probably will win some race during this season. Anyway, it's nice to see an open race and equality between a lot of important teams, although ferrari's tifosis probably aren't very satisfied right now with quite every big team performing better than them (even sauber and williams)

I followed (and still do) Schumi for years and was (and still am) a fan, absolutely heartbreaking that an 8th championship in his final (before 1st retirement) went up in smoke via failed engine in the second to last race - what a battle that was between him and big Al it was!

All I'd like to see is a podium finish this year, he's got it in him. And by the way, WELCOME BACK KIMI!

Mercedes took the poll for first time in "a while" (1955 iirc).

But this will be shrouded in controversy, after mercedes changed the tail and Lotus and other teams are up on arms. What other teams are calling cheating, I say its clever use of physics! It's really amazing what their new tail design does from a physics standpoint.

I thought I just read an article stating that F1 approved their new design...? Was I having another stroke or did that really happen?

Yea, mercedes "won" the protest by other teams... but then they win the next Poll and win the next race... So i have a feeling there will be more to come on this.

The double F duct has been declared legal. Another case of Ross interpreting the rules well. Schumi is getting old. I've never liked the personality but admire the driver of old. I'm an Ayrton Senna, Hamilton fan.

I'm pretty sure Schumi will see another podium this year but he is over the hill.

What is great is to finally see F1 highly competitive over the top ten placings. Congrats to the FIA & Pirelli.

Michael get dealt a bad hand on this race. Wheel nut did not get seated on the right front wheel at the 1st pit stop. Michael was driving pretty tactically IMHO and would have probably been 1st or 2nd at the end of the day. Michael handled it very classy... Congrats to Nico. He drove a great race! Truly was the class of the field today!

I think it's still way too early to say Schumi is "too old" for F1. Merc hasn't had a competitive car for their first 2 years back in F1, and now that they apparently do, we are only 3 races in. Australia is a throwaway as far as establishing who is dominant, and the rain in Malaysia made it a crap shoot. The first 2 races did show Merc couldn't carry their qualifying pace advantage through to race pace, but if todays results are any indication, upgrades have made a huge difference in tire wear. If it weren't for a a major pit mistake, it's entirely conceivable that he would be on the podium along with Nico and JB.

All politics aside regarding Bahrain next week, it should be another track that is well suited to the Mercedes AMG DDRS qualifying advantage. Hopefully we will see the team jump a few places to 3rd ahead of Ferrari!

Congrats to Nico, Ross, Norbert and the rest of the team

Most exciting F1 event I've watched for years. The race for second place had 7-9 cars all covered by about 12 seconds right up to the time Raikkonen slowed towards the end.
