İpod kit suitable for my clk?

Hi guys. Have my clk with only audio 20 which is really boring so i have started looking for an ipod kit and found one today which is removed from a 2006 model ML. Mine is a 2008 w209.

İ am not quite sure if this ipod kit is ok for my Audio 20. Planning to buy it as soon as possible so any comments are appreciated and welcomed

Thanks in advance

Btw, the part number for the ipod kit is : B6 782 42 52

To be honest the pic of the ad is really blurry... Hope it gives an idea.

Have you ever thought of just doing the AUX cable?

The iPod kit is the same for all W209s (MY2005 and later) regardless of head unit.

I believe the iPod kit for the W164 ML is also compatible with the W209.

Well as I know of my factory 2008 clk350 iPod plug doesn't charge my iPhone.. You gotta buy a different plug to charge newer apple things.

It doesn't charge my new square nano... You will need a adapter on top of that factory plug...

Yeah, the Apple devices that don't support Firewire will need an adapter. I think this will work:

Amazon Amazon

Maybe check eBay? There are probably some worldwide dealers that sell and ship these adapters inexpensively.

My first aim is to have it installed on monday cause i am still waiting for the delivery. If it works i might get it from germany where my bro studies or from uk as well since i have many friends over there. The guy that sold the kit told me that it was charging his iphone - is it possible ?

It depends on the iPhone model. I think the 4/4S don't charge.

Its not charging as you guys told me

I installed it myself, wasnt that hard after checking few threads about it. Its really nice to use it via the steering wheel. Next is buying that little thing for charging it.

What i understand is the code for everything is different and the pack containing has a different code for it. That was the thing confusing me since i was searching the net with actual number written on the ipod kit / black box or whatever you call it.
Thanks alot for the replies
