CLK 550 Oil leak - Valve cover issue?

I have a small oil leak on the passenger's side of the car. The leak is not bad yet, it does not accumulate on the floor of my garage. The oil drips to the exhaust headers and it causes a bit of smoke and burned small. The oil seems to accumulate behind an unidentified part towards the back of the engine. It seems to be be a valve cover leak. I found no valve cover gaskets for the 550 engine, just this sealant: VICTOR REINZ JV8 Silicone SILICONE. The car has only 38K miles.
Anybody has any suggestions or instructions how to remove the valve covers? Just remove, clean and apply sealant?
Thanks.

No the top of the head, the back of the engine. I'll try to get a picture. The leak is very small.

The valve/head covers on the M273 do uses RTV instead of pre-made gaskets. And this rarely leaks (almost never form the factory). A common source of leaks are from the rear of the covers. The right side (USA passenger) has an oil centrifuge that is used to vent the crankcase. The left side (USA driver) has two plastic "cam plugs" that snap in place and are known to leak.

Found the leak under the centrifuge that is used to vent the crankcase. Should I just try to tighten the lower bolts or remove and use some high temperature sealer? I wonder if I remove the part oil is going to leak from the engine. Do ypu happen to know the part number ?Thanks

Here's the WIS doc for removing the centrifuge:

It has an o-ring style seal, but it is not available as a separate part; you need to replace the plastic cover which comes with a new seal - part number A2720100431.

You have to replace the part - the seal is not available as a separate part. I just did this on my R230 and it was a 10 minute job. Granted there is a bit more room on the R230 to work, but its a few bolts and one hose to R&R.
