Crazy how much larger the AMG/Brembo calipers are compared to stock. I swapped our sport brakes on our w211 a year ago for AMG/Brembo calipers. I took a picture of just the calipers for comparison. The AMG are truly gargantuan. They make my STi's brakes look tiny as well.
I swapped out the stock 300mm brakes on my C class (same as CLK320 brakes) for 312mm w211 E500 4 piston brakes which fit inside 16" wheels. They weigh exactly the same. https://imgur.com/a/3T7cz

And difference between stock 1 piston vs 6 piston just wow!!! Brakes on my 16 Camaro SS not even close to these AMG brakes
