Mercedes CLK 220 CDI backseat problem

Hi there... I'm new here... I have what i think a little problem with the driver backseat on my car (CLK220 CDI). I have always the following message "please lock the back seat". the backseat is a manual one, without any eletric adjustments. I tried to push it forward and back but the message is always on.
Anyone who nows how to fix it?!

It's the "seat back", not the "back seat". This message indicates that the back of the driver's seat is not locked down after being tilted forward to access the rear seat. You may need to raise it, then slam it hard back into place to trigger that it is fully latched.

There is a lever on the top of the seat back, at the "shoulder", next to the dearest. Pull up on it to release the seat for access to the rear seat.

I had already done it several times but the message is still appearing...

The limit switch in the seat that registers when it is locked in place can get dirty or break and not properly report the position. Sometimes raising the seat, then slamming it down back to the locked position can make it work.

Happen to have a picture or diagram of where the limit switch is? I didn't see it when I pulled my driver seat recently & mine needs frequent slamming.
