Thoughts on Audi RS5? more pics and article
When the all new CLK comes out in 2 or so years, it'll be way better than the current CLK though. The RS5 will have somewhere over 500 lb/ft of torque, and since it'll be a twin-turbo, 4.2 liter, built V-8, it should be relatively inexpensive and easy to modify the software to get an even bigger jump in HP/Torque right away. And with the Quattro AWD, it should have excellent red-light take-off skills. And with a modified magnetic-ride damper equipped suspension, it should ride well too. Stopping will be great too with the carbon-ceramic brakes.

It sure would have been fantastic if they had put this TTV8 in the RS4.
may be 4.2 FSI one from RS4
As regards an Audi V8TT, they may make a revised one but it will be for the forthcoming RS6. Some say it will be a V10 like the S6, others say it'll get a TT V8 similar to the 2003 RS6. Either way, the engine will not make its way down to the compact section like RS5.
If the same is true of the A5, I'd give it a serious look, in RS form...only gripe I have with Audi is that their marketing stinks. Their sales are way, way up, but they haven't devoted enough energy to raising the perceptions of their cars to a first-teir luxury-sport brand. :inx:

Got most of it from british car sites, they are big fans of new audi news it seems.
And why the attitude man? Thought the forums would be interested to see what the competition is up to. Guess some people downright don't like it period.
