Here's another beauty on the way to work this morning. The guy driving quickly got busy on his cell phone when I pulled up and slowed down to look. What was even better is we were in bumper to bumper traffic so he had no where to go. It's all I could do not to roll down my window and ask him about his special one off "AMG!" At least line the badge up man!

I think you see a lot of clk430 with the AMG badge because they didn't start producing the 55 until 2001 and the 430 came with the same body kit as the 55.

I had a 1999 CLK430 and it did not come from the factory with an AMG badge.

Very nice conversion. I would do this to my car but putting the v8-biturbo and the rear badges is a bit much. I'm very happy with my S550 with quads, but I don't feel the need to sell my car as something else. SHAME!
