suspension problems?

my car currently swerves a lot when i go over bumpy roads - usully speeds higher than 40.

i also hear a lot of squeaking noise coming from the back of the car. not sure if its related to the other problem.

i actually had the squeaking problem before and i took it to the stealership, but after 3 visits they still couldn't fix it. i'm still covered under warranty, but i'm just curious what the experts in this site think before i take it back to them.

thanks in advance.

As far as the squeaking, I would have to have it in front of me to diagnose.

The swerving at higher speeds with bumps sounds like an alignment condition. Possibly too much toe out.

The service booklet states that every 4 years or 50,000 miles the steering gear bolts should be retorqued. Other than that, the usual suspects for less than precise steering / wander (tie rods, ball joints, wheel bearings) should have been caught by your dealer. What brand and model tires are you running?

i would have them put a wrench on some bolts to make sure everything is tight. it could be bad tires or a poor alignment as others have suggested.

i just recently changed my tires. i have Eagle F1 all season: 225-45-17 in the front and 255-40-17 in the back. they are very good.
i'm planning to get an alignment in the next couple of days, i'll let you guys know if that fixes it.
